What our Clients Say
I have enjoyed my experience at Lendass Accounting Solutions. Being here has allowed me to further my knowledge and skills required to be a professional accountant. I have learned things I thought i never would have learned whilst I’ve been here. This experience has been an enlightening one, being able to also have a hands on experience really helped a lot, I was able to use what I had learnt/been taught and applied my skills and knowledge to real life situations. I am very very impressed by the team and people at Lendass, their knowledge and professionalism has motivated me to work hard so I could like them.
I GOT MORE THAN I EXPECTED FROM LENDASS!
According to what I have gained from Lendass Accounting Solutions, I can safely say it’s the best place to gain practical skills and experience. Learning comes easy with the help of a team that not only makes you feel at home but also part of them.
The way I operate with the computer has changed because this is something I used to take for granted yet it’s really useful in this era. I have gained more from my supervisors and picked up skills like problem solving which is portrayed upon working on books of accounts of the different bookkeeping clients.
I have gained more confidence, improved my typing skills, learned how to send professional emails, and associated with other members.
I have learned that being professional is about managing time, being accountable, working well with clients, and meeting client’s needs in time.
I recommend interns and trainees to come and join Lendass because you gain more experience and skills than you expect.
In life, everyone has to be with a “WHY” question before doing anything.
The dilemma of being academically qualified but practically incapable.
Graduating with a 4.15 CGPA in BCOM-Accounting from Makerere University Business School was exciting but I had a lot of knowledge theoretically with no idea about how to apply it practically. Because of this, after university, I decided to join Lendass as a trainee. This was after contacting Mr Dumba Patrick, an audit technical manager at Nnawuba & Associates who advised me to join.
My expectations were not many while joining, I only hoped to learn and practice computerized accounting but after getting there, I realized there was more to that.
My favorite part of this training (learning QuickBooks being the 1st), has been the weekly refresher meetings. With facilitators, we discuss the inside and outside work topics extensively to help us be productive and efficient at work.
Experienced accountants are always able to create time and train amidst their busy schedules. Letting me work on actual (live) files under supervision has been a thrilling experience. As an accountant, I have also learned that there are no shortcuts in accounting.
Asking myself “why” before believing or doing anything is another critical thing in life that I had to learn to guide my decision-making.
I’m aware of the fact that there is still a lot to learn and unlearn and I look forward to that every day. But for now, I’m glad I have got employable skills and ready to seize any opportunity available.
Many thanks to the CEO, Mr Kaganda Stephen for this initiative.
I wish upcoming accountants care to take up this rare hands-on training opportunity.
